3. When you have taken your online course you need to schedule your Range Qualification and aditional training:

This is a Texas Department of Public Safety Certification course designed to train and evaluates educators to carry defensive handguns on school campus. We provide the Texas D.P.S. approved training for school districts and teachers. During the state-mandated two days of instruction we place students into real-world scenarios and testing. The four core topics instructed as required by the Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS)

• Protection of Students

• Interaction of license holders with first responders

• Tactics for denying an intruder entry into a classroom or school facility

• Methods for increasing a license holder's accuracy with a handgun while under duress

Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a Texas D.P.S. Proof of Training Form. Completed courses will be then filed with Texas Department of Public Safety as a part of their License to Carry in accordance with Texas Government Code 411.1901.  $1500.00 for up to 6 students.  Learn to shoot or improve your shooting skills and proficiency with private one-hour lessons. Learn or refresh your fundamentals of handgun shooting and techniques while gaining target practice. Private one-on-one lessons are self-paced and scheduled as many times as you want. Bring your firearm, ammo, extra magazines, and ear and eye protection. For LTC Holders Only: Improve your shooting skills and proficiency with private one-hour lessons. Learn or refresh your fundamentals of handgun shooting and techniques while gaining target practice. Private one-on-one lessons are self-paced and scheduled as many times as you want. Bring your firearm, ammo, extra magazines, and ear and eye protection. $60 an hour.

 The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course teaches US Citizens the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook. You will need a pistol and approximately 150-200 rounds of ammunition. You may use any caliber you wish, including .22's. If you need to rent a pistol, please let me know ahead of time. Range Fees are included.

 The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course is an instructor-led program that teaches the fundamental knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safe rifle ownership and use. The course includes classroom instruction on safe gun handling, rifle parts, operation, ammunition, and shooting fundamentals, followed by live-fire training on the range. After completing the course, students receive a certificate, a student handbook, and other materials.

 Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target.

This course includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.
